Welcome to Captain Ed's, a beautifully appointed studio cottage located in the newly renovated, Palmview Inn! The cottage features a king bed, a sleeper sofa, a full bathroom and a comprehensive kitchenette featuring a fully equipped inventory. Festooned with gorgeous palm trees and an ever present ocean breeze, Palmview Inn has been the choice of many travelers year after year. Close to beaches, dining and shopping, this property boasts one of the best locations on the island.
Captain Ed's is one of 6 cottages within the historic Palmview of Sanibel, each one beautifully appointed with a distinct theme. The Palmview Inn offers vibrant fully equipped cottages within walking distance to Sanibel’s famous shelling beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. Complimentary adult bikes and beach equipment are provided to explore the nearby bike paths, or to enjoy a day at the beach full of fun under the sun.
We are pet friendly for up to two dogs up to 50lbs each. If you will be traveling with pets please notify us after confirming your booking so that we can update your reservation accordingly. Per pet fee of $75 will apply.
Guests must complete rental agreement prior to the stay.
A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.
We are available on site for any needs the guest may have, large or small.

This little cottage was perfect for the two of us! It was clean and well-stocked. We used the free bikes to explore the island which has beautiful bike paths everywhere! We had a couple of questions when we arrived and Palmer responded promptly. He was helpful and pleasant. We highly recommend!!!
It was great to find a place we could rent for just two nights and it was perfect for our needs.
