Redesigned in 2024 as part of a TV show, this cozy studio cottage features 250 sqft. of optimized island space with a queen bed, a full bathroom and a kitchenette. Walk or bike to enjoy swimming, shelling, dining and shopping. Complimentary adult bikes and beach equipment are provided to explore the miles and miles of beaches and bike paths Sanibel has to offer, full of fun under the sun. This suite is located within the historic PalmView of Sanibel, where each room is beautifully appointed with a distinct theme. The PalmView offers charming fully equipped cottages within walking distance to Sanibel’s famous shelling beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. We are pet friendly for up to two dogs up to 50lbs each. If you will be traveling with pets, please notify us after confirming your booking so that we can update your reservation accordingly. Per pet fee of $75 will apply. City of Sanibel Business Tax Receipt Number - SHOM-003384 We recommend bikes or a golf cart to get around. Guests must complete rental agreement prior to their stay. A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.

Starting with the positives: The outdoor living space was wonderful; the best out of any Airbnb I’ve stayed at thus far. That space, along with the bikes, is what saved my rating from being 2 stars. The listing’s pictures are outdated - meaning they were taken when the room was newly renovated. Since then, the wallpaper & wall lights are gone, TV is moved, etc. There was barely any water pressure in the shower. There was no sink in the kitchenette, but guests were expected to wash dishes before checkout in the tiniest bathroom sink. The bathroom needs a toilet paper holder & some shelves. A night stand, clock, & bedside light would be nice. One of the main reasons I booked this place over others was because snorkeling gear is in the listing. When I was unable to find it, I contacted the owner & was told it is not available. I pointed out it was in the listing & they may want to update. I’m writing this review several days later & at this time, snorkeling gear is still listed.
Lovely clean little place. The location to the beach access is great. Less than 5 minute walk. Having bikes available was a bonus as the trails on the island are extensive and well maintained. The outdoor communal space is very cute and made for an enjoyable space for our breakfast and morning coffee.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, very quiet area. Bikes & beach chairs & umbrellas provided if needed.
