Additionally, guests have access to on site pool and tennis facilities, in addition to beach gear, including chairs, umbrella, floats, boogie boards, and much more. Guests will have access to all the amenities of the Villa Sanibel complex including a recently renovated pool, tennis courts, grills and private beach access just steps from your unit. Uber, taxi, and car can get you to the unit. Guests must sign a rental agreement upon booking the property A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. Wonderful stay! Just steps from the ocean. Heated pool. We had a wonderful time.
Sanibel is a beautiful place to be, and we truly enjoyed our time on the island. It’s worth noting that the area is still recovering from recent hurricanes, including Hurricane Ian (2022) and more recent storms in 2024, so some properties or nearby complexes may still have ongoing repairs. Our original unit (Island Beach Club) was impacted by undisclosed on-site construction, which made daytime rest difficult and led to a mid-stay relocation. The second unit helped reduce the construction impact, though we did encounter a few minor functional quirks typical of properties still being fine-tuned post-renovation. Communication was excellent during booking and, to their credit, management ultimately worked with us to resolve the situation. My advice to future guests is simply to ask specific questions in advance about construction activity and any ongoing maintenance, especially while the island continues rebuilding.
